Canadian-American singer Erin Cooper Gay is quickly gathering momentum. A voice “with a seductively warm, lyric quality”, a remarkable versatility and spirited artistry, make her an exciting musician to watch. A real passion for collaboration finds her seeking out other artists from different genres who want to break new ground.
Erin is no stranger to the music scene, she can also be found on stage in the brass section. Having performed regularly with the orchestras of Seattle, Cleveland, Vancouver and the National Arts Centre and as principal horn for the latest Toronto production of Les Misérables, this year marks her 11th season as acting utility French Horn with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. An unusual, yet natural, combination of professional horn and soprano, Erin draws upon the singing quality of the instrument and her extensive musical background to guide her.
Erin made her solo horn debut with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra at the age of 19; she returned to make her vocal debut in 2011 as “Kate Middleton” in the Last Night of the Proms.

Erin is singing Deh Vieni Non Tardar by Mozart.
